Privacy policy
You can play all of GRAVLANE without an account and without an internet connection. Played that way, nothing whatsoever leaves your device.
The short version
- No advertising, no analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs watching you.
- Nothing is ever sold, rented, or handed to anyone for marketing.
- What does leave your device is either something you chose to publish, or your own progress being backed up so you can get it back.
- You can delete every trace of it, permanently, in two taps — from the game or from this site.
Stays on your device
Your progress, best times, unlocks, ships and upgrades, settings, and any levels you are building in the Forge are stored on your device. If you never sign in and never open the community board, that is the whole story — none of it is uploaded and we cannot see it.
Collected when you go online
An account
The first time you use an online feature, a guest account is created for you automatically. It holds no personal information, exists only to attach your community activity to something, and disappears when you uninstall the game.
If you choose Sign in with Google, we receive your email address, and the display name and profile picture link from your Google account. These are used to recognise you on a new device and are never shown to other players. We never see or receive your Google password.
Your callsign
A name you pick for yourself. It is public — it appears beside levels you publish and ratings you cast. Your email address is not, and is only ever shown back to you on your own Pilot screen.
Cloud save
Once you sign in with Google, your progress, best times, unlocks, statistics and Forge levels are backed up so you can restore them on another device or after reinstalling. Syncing only ever merges — a better time or a new unlock wins — so it cannot take progress away from you.
Community content
Levels you publish are visible to every player, along with your callsign and how many people have played and rated them. Star and difficulty ratings you cast are stored against your account, and the creator of a level can see who completed it. Publishing and rating are always your choice; browsing is not recorded.
Google Play Games
If Play Games is available and signed in on your device, your achievements and leaderboard scores are sent to Google under your Play Games player ID. That information is held by Google under Google's privacy policy, and you can control it in the Google Play Games app.
Never collected
GRAVLANE does not collect your location, contacts, photos, files, messages, calendar, microphone or camera, browsing history, advertising ID, or any device identifier. It contains no advertising, no analytics, and no crash-reporting or tracking SDK of any kind. Its only Android permission is access to the internet.
Who else handles it
Supabase stores the accounts, cloud saves and community levels on our behalf, and Google runs sign-in and Play Games Services. They process this data for us and for no other purpose. Nobody else receives it.
How long it is kept
Until you delete it. Deletion happens immediately; encrypted database backups may still hold a copy for up to 7 days, after which they roll off and it is gone permanently.
How it is protected
Everything is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection. On the server, access is enforced row by row, so one player cannot read or change another player's save, and only you can delete your own account.
Your choices
- Play offline, or as a guest, and share nothing.
- Sign out at any time — Settings → Pilot. Your progress on the device is left alone.
- Erase your progress on this device — Settings → Gameplay → Erase everything.
- Delete your account and everything stored with it — Settings → Pilot → Delete account, or on this site.
If you are in a region with data protection laws such as the GDPR, the rights those laws give you — to see your data, correct it, or have it erased — are covered by the controls above, and by writing to the address below.
Children
GRAVLANE is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and it will be removed.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date below changes with it, and anything material will be announced in the game rather than quietly edited in.
